New London Anesthesia cares for patients before, during and after many different medical and surgical procedures. Before your procedure, an anesthesiologist will interview you and perform a physical exam. We will review your medical history and any lab work, EKGs, etc. The anesthesiologist will discuss the choices you have in anesthesia for your upcoming procedure. The anesthesia care team, consisting of an anesthesiologist and an anesthetist, will care for you throughout your procedure. Afterwards, the anesthesiologist will continue your care through the recovery room and may be responsible for your pain management during your hospital stay.
