Our Anesthetists
New London Anesthesia uses a Care Team approach to our practice. This consists of anesthesiologists (medical doctors who specialize in anesthesiology) and anesthetists. Anesthetists may be either Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) or Anesthesiologist Assistants (AA). A CRNA is a registered nurse who completes a nurse anesthesia training program. An AA is a health professional who completes an anesthesiologist assistant training program. The anesthesia team works together to ensure the safest care to our patients.
