Pain Management
Our physicians practice acute and chronic pain management at the Emory Eastside Pain Center, Emory Eastside Medical Center, and Gwinnett Center for Outpatient Surgery. Each patient receives a comprehensive evaluation which includes a thorough history and physical exam of their pain problem, referral for further diagnostic imaging and testing as appropriate, and formulation of a treatment plan. Multiple strategies are employed to treat our patients' pain and may include injections, medications, physical therapy, and education. Referrals to other specialists are considered if appropriate.
